Biotechnology is research oriented discipline. For Making career in Biotechnology, one should go for research degree in Biotechnology like Ph.D., PDF etc. But getting admission in PhD in Biotechnology in good institution / University in India like IITs, CSIR-Labs is very competitive and laborious. Eneb after clearing national level test/ scholarship test like NET JRF, GATE or other scholarships , the student have to go for another screen test followed by interview. The institute should pre-disclose the no. of PhD position available and the selection criteria.
